    Description

Here's a great listing for any collectors of Ottoman coinage out there!! This is a 1223/28 (1835) 6 Kurush from the reign of Sultan Mahmud II.  The interesting thing is that this coin appears to be double struck.  If you look at the photos, there's a part of another Tughra underneath the main Tughra on the obverse and on the reverse, you can see where the calligraphy is crossed and you can see part of another "Constantinople" across from the main "Constantinople".  I have no idea how to value this, so I'm going to let you guys decide!!! It's starting at .00 with NO RESERVE!! Thanks for Looking!!
