Sterling, Gold and Garnet - Small Buckle - late 1800's (?) India - Freemason
I did not test the metal content on this and am selling it as "metal".    It seems to be of the kind that would have been made in India during the British rule or occupation.  It is SMALL.  See pictures.  I suppose it was for an apron.....  definately old and hand made, natural garnets - rose cut.
It could be adjust by a jeweler to make a sweet 'bling ring'.  That was my plan, and I am a jeweler...  but too many projects.
There are three separate but related values here... the materials of the metals and garnets, the artistic and craftsmanship value,and the value of this item's in its place in history.

I have had this a long time and have put off selling it because I do not want to see it melted.  I like it very much.
