Nizhoni, is a Navajo Native American Indian Maiden 18" doll. A Heritage doll from the 1987 Southwest Regional Conference.
Her head, shoulders, arms and lower legs are porcelain. Her face is hand painted and her brown eyes are glass. The cloth body is stuffed with sawdust. The shoulder plate is marked 1987 Fengelder Rigdon Red 2 AO.
She is true to her culture from her deerskin leggings to her black mohair wig wrapper with sheep's wool. She is wearing a turquoise velour blouse with a beaded necklace and belt, a two tier skirt, leather leggings, and a natural cotton flounce petticoat.
LIKE NEW CONDITION and was used for display only in a closed glass doll case. Clean and odor free.
