    Description

RARE! CDV-700 sensor tube (GM Tube). Model 103 019 Range Extender!
Up for your consideration is a new old stock 103 019 extended range GM tube. for CDV-700. Tested in a calibrated unit, and seems to work perfectly. I can't find out much about these online and all in stock read the same levels regardless of test. They read about 10% less sensitive than the original CDV-700 6993 GM tube which is super sensitive. This is handy in many situations such as a hot zone. Once threat passes simply swap out this tube for the standard range 6993.  Store it in cigar tube. These also makes a great backup tube. So to sum up what these can do is give a CDV-700 user one more level of reading capability. If your CDV is set for X100 and the needle is still maxed out, this will lower the needle back down providing a more readable range. Use this when making decisions as it allows you to see if levels are rising or falling in extreme circumstance.
note: Please be careful w these. The sides are thin like a soda can. When exchanging them you must grab them from the top and gently work them out. If the chrome wand handle wont spin off, open the probe eyelets exposing the GM tube then spray a small amount of WD40 down into the lower hole on the GM tube probe, prop it upright, and let it sit for maybe 10 minutes. From there wipe it down and try it again. If its still stuck you can send them to me and I can break them free for you. I can also  create a new GM tube seal for you. I warranty these tubes for 30 days against defect plus I insure them through shipping.
    STORAGE
I simply buy a cigar tube and slide them in with maybe a few extra components, or some white tip matches. Place the cigar tube inside the CDV-700 in the lower can. Some model 700s like a Model 5 Anton may not have enough room for internal storage. For those I recommend just placing the cigar tube in the yellow carry bags or you own personal Kit bag used for the CDV-700. Just protect it, mark it, and keep it on standby.
I mark the cigar tubes to identify which GM tube is being stored as I am offering 3 types. 6993 (most common), 103 GM Tubes made by Victoreen (reduce sensitivity by maybe 10% so Im guessing those extend the range of a CDV-700 from 50 mr/hr to 100 mr/hr?) Last I am offering the 101s which reduce sensitivity greatly extending the range of a CDV-700 from 50 mr/hr to 500 mr/hr. Simple swap tubes as needed.
