Large antique matching pair architectural finials---circa 1880-----15706

Description

I've noticed that antique dealers like to use the word monumental quite often.   Well, in this case it is an appropriate adjective for these matching pair of swag finials.  Wish I could have seen the staircase (I assume from a staircase?) from which these two came.  Beautifully restored and in excellent condition.  Overall approximately 20" H x 8" W x 8" D.  Circa 1880 I would estimate.  We have put some green felt on the bottoms to complete the restoration.   Would be wonderful on a table, either end of a fireplace, or ??????   Unlikely you will ever find a more unique size and style matching pair of architectural finials.  Email any day (see email address above---I normally check
