Condition: This finial is heavy about 19 pounds before packing. I do have 4 of these that are in the same condition and the same color that are also for sale, but you are bidding on one finial only in this sale. Someone at some point in time painted it grey that shows chipping with reddish paint and rust exposed in places underneath. This will fit on a post that is 6 1/2" in dia. and slides down on the post approx. 2 1/4". Measures approx. 10 3/4" tall when sitting on the counter. The ball is approx. 7" in dia. Has 4 iron square headed bolts that would keep the finial in place. Rusty on the inside as seen in the picture. Dark spots on the inside are from oil on the bolts which work fine. This is an old one dating back to the early 1900's not any of that new reproduction s--t from overseas.
