Counts.Pro lets you take long term scaler readings with any count rate meter to measure even small variations in background contamination or just record readings with GPS.
Counts.Pro (which is a top level domain for more research) allows you to record all your measurements and works with any detector, old or new, that measures pulses.  This includes scintillation, proportional, neutron, or GM detectors.  Counts.Pro upgrades any meter into a datalogging scaler that allows you to take long term counts to analyze minute traces of radiation and fluctuations in natural background radiation.  Counts.Pro uses the GPS in the IOS device (which can be enhanced to provide sub meter GPS) to record location.  Gone are the days when you only see a dancing needle on your meter and wonder what the true reading is.  Data is stored in a .csv format which can be opened by any typical spreadsheet.  You don't need special software to analyze what you get, so your files are "future proof".

The Counts.Pro is a Bluetooth device that connects your radiation meter wirelessly to your IPhone, iPad, or IPod via a free App.  This includes GM and Proportional counters, scintillators, count rate meters, micro-R meters, Scalers, etc.  Counts.Pro transmits the pulses measured by your meter via Bluetooth LE to your IOS device. Counts.Pro records every count your meter measures and transmits to the free App on your device giving more data (including GPS) from the meters than is otherwise currently possible.  Easily collect and store data for further analysis without any special software using your current meter!  Counts.Pro includes the hardware, a year of the cloud service, and a free IOS App.  The App is available from the Apple Store for free and allows multiple users to share a single Counts.Pro device (one at a time). All you need to connect the counts.pro is an IOS device using Bluetooth 4.0 or later.  If you have access to an Iphone/Ipad/Ipod, the following versions that use use Bluetooth 4.0 (BT LE), also known as Bluetooth Low Energy and Bluetooth Smart will work.  The Counts.Pro monitors the signal used to drive the display on meters.  It does not affect your calibration and in fact will reflect the settings you put on the meter, such as window, threshold, etc.  Counts.Pro indicates what your meter shows.
