Clear GLASS Ball Newel Post FINIAL w Metal Base w 12 Pt STAR & Ovals Bannister
Beautiful (what I believe to be) crystal and or glass stair ball,
clean and shiny. Star seems to be at a very slight tilt IMO.
Ball mounted on baluster foot
in brass gold metal (magnet sticks to base but not as much the foot)
Total height: ~6.5 inches and diameter: ~4.5 inches.
Base diameter of detachable: 2-3/8 inches.
Weight: ~1 lbs. 6.6 oz.
Good condition - very minimal wear to ball - metal has some tarnish (maybe polish will help?)
Superb original ball for a beautiful staircase.
This was purchased at a high end estate sale - I am not an expert on these fixtures and am listing it to the best of my ability. Please ask any questions before buying!
