Up for sale is a rare antique gold gilded open winged eagle flag finial.
It's cast out of a solid gold gilded brass or bronze, is solid, and very heavy.
The finial features a realistic depiction of an eagle perched on a thick bronze symbol which has a threaded mount underneath.
It's in great condition and measures 6 1/4 inches tall without measuring the thread underneath by 5 1/4 inches wide.
