I don’t know where to start with this thing. This has been one of my kids for 3 years. I always wanted to build one of these but never had the right combination to do it. There was always a rusty one, there was always a wrecked one, there was always one with a tore up interior…and I didn’t want any of that. If I was going to build a Duramax Suburban, it had to be exactly the way I wanted it. I bought this rig from Florida as a one owner, as a dealer trade, sight unseen with no intentions of keeping it (I’m a car dealer). It showed up and was 10x cleaner and better than I expected and the rest goes downhill from there. Wound up buying a wrecked truck from TX for the heart transplant and set off in my venture. My good buddy from childhood owns a diesel shop in KY and did most of the heavy work with my nagging mouth bugging them for weeks. When I picked it up I felt like I had ordered a brand new one. It looked, smelled, ran, and drove like a brand new one! Anyways, on to the actual Suburban and off my rambling..It’s a 2007 Suburban that started life as a fully loaded 2500. It’s got roof, heated seats, rain sense wipers, power gate, rear entertainment, and navigation. Not sure the guy that owned it could have put another option on it. It came with the 6.0 from the factory that found a new home in my wife’s Tahoe. The drivetrain was promptly removed and replaced with a 2008 LMM Duramax drivetrain. I had MotorOps do the tuning, added a FASS 165 system, 4” stainless Jamo exhaust with muffler, a billet torque converter, full 2” body lift (still fits in normal garage), and a set of Cali offroad 20” wheels with 275/60/20 tires stuck on it. I’ve done an endless list of upgrades along the way and detailed everything in an excel sheet but I’ll list the major points below. Body has 240k on it and the drivetrain has 116K currently. The odometer shows body mileage because I didn’t want to screw up the Carfax or history of it.

- Hot and cold side intercooler piping
- Intake Heater delete
- EGR and DPF delete
- S&B intake
- PCV reroute
- 4” Jamo stainless exhaust with 6” rolled stainless tip

- New Hydroboost unit

I’m sure I’m missing a ton of stuff on this poor thing and will never be able to do it justice to someone just seeing it in person, but it’s the best I can do on paper. I’m sure there’s a list twice as much that I’m forgetting. I have gone under it every year that it’s been up here and re-sprayed the frame and suspension to make sure there’s no rust. There is ZERO, anywhere. Never been any flaking, no bubbles starting, nothing. Even the seams under the body are spotless. It’s got a few scratches that I’ll get some pics of (if you can see them) but I’ve been very on point at keeping chips touched up and whatnot. I think you’d be hard pressed to find a parking lot ding in it… though I’m sure in the right light someone will. It’s had Rotella 15/40 and Delco 2232 filters every 3-7k miles and a spin on Allison filter every 10k. I’m probably one of the most anal people about my vehicles you’ll ever meet. I also went underneath it twice a year and touched up the frame and sprayed cosmoline wax on any gap or spot that I thought COULD rust at any point, not to mention the COUNTLESS underbody washes. It did get driven in the winter, but I’m very cautious about it – I HATE rust and its got NONE.
There’s only a few little things I’d like to point out to anyone looking…and I’m doing it because I hate surprises buying online. The airbag light is on for the passenger airbag. It’s a recall but I didn’t want them doing it because the dash has (2) ¾” hairline cracks from the airbag to the trim panel and if they replace it they’ll destroy the dash (ask me how I know). The seats have a little wear, but they look a lot better than most of the 2018 vehicles I buy. The drivers seat power forward and back is finicky – sometimes it moves fine, other times it likes to be a 2 year old kid. It hardly ever moved while I owned it, so I never bothered messing with it. No rips, no tears, no smoke smell, nothing. It says “service parking aid” because my mechanic didn’t program the vin into the parking module…an annoyance that can be fixed for that he has been “too busy” to do for the past 3 months. I’d be happy to provide the vin for anyone and will be blowing his phone up until the end of the auction to get done before it goes… and it weeps a little power steering fluid from the bottom seal in the power steering box. This started about 3 months ago and I’ve had to add fluid one time since. It’s not bad, but it’s wet down there. The front rotors have just started to have a little vibration while stopping. I have a brand new set of Severe duty AC Delco rotors and HD ceramic pads to go with it. It’s not a bad vibration, but it’s there and I’d rather you know.
This thing is an absolute beast and has been my go-to vehicle for the last three years. I hate to see it go but I’d sure be happy to see it go to someone who can use it and appreciate it. It runs great, drives great, and looks like a new one. I still have both factory keys and remotes, all of the owners manuals, and Weathertech liners for the whole thing. Remote start works, cruise works, OBD2 port works. It’s all just like it left the factory this way. It’s probably the cleanest one you’ll ever see and I’m sure it’ll do for the next person just as well as it did me. Ask any questions, call me 317-260-9235, text me, email me…whatever. I’m here, I’m an open book.
Please ask your wife, spouse, bank, whatever before you start bidding. I’m a straight shooter and hope most of the people bidding are too. Deposit of 00 is due within 24 hours of auction close and the rest is due on pickup or in 7 days, whatever comes first. I am a dealer and will probably have to pick up sales tax of some sort – please message me and let me know what state you are and I can tell you how much. You will NOT have to pay sales tax again when you get home. I don't charge any doc fees or anything like that. This is straight price plus your home state tax. I am a licensed Indiana dealer but this has been my PERSONAL rig since February of 2018. I will assist in shipping or airport pickup any way I can, but the buyer needs to arrange it. Come inspect it any time prior to auction end. I don’t think you’ll find a cleaner one anywhere. I have a semi-goofy schedule and am on the road a lot but I will work with the buyer and make sure I'm around to help in shipping or pick up. Also, feel FREE to come out and take a look at it any any time during the sale!
