For Auction: 2002 NISSAN FRONTIER SE V6 4-Door Crew Cab
This truck has a clean California title
and current California Registration,
but is located for pickup
in Connecticut.
My Sister's Truck: she is a teacher in central CA and drove it
home to CT in June.
She is driving a new car back
instead, and selling the truck in CT.
She bought it in 2019,
from a neighbor whose son was the original owner
Here is everything else I know about it:
118K miles.
Recent oil change and service, new front brake pads/rotors, tire rotation/balance, new headlights—all after the trip across country.
Hood sticker shows timing belt replacement around 100K.
Runs and drives well.
Maybe a little looseness in front end
, but nothing major. New owner will be able to drive anywhere after purchase.
Structurally immaculate. No rust or corrosion of any kind. Even a garaged and often-washed truck in CT would never stay this clean.
Carpets and seats have some minor stains, and
driver's seat has a small hole
; otherwise clean and nice.
Interior plastic is in good shape—no cracks or discoloration. A few stains and scuffs, and some really annoying
grime on inside of gauge clusters
are the only demerits.
Tonneau cover works well, but lock is non-functional; factory bed-liner is in great shape.
Shifter lock button is a little tricky
-- needs a few quick presses to release. Disconcerting at first, but not a big deal once you get used to it, and it seems consistent.
Spare key is located in CA and will be mailed to new owner. Title and one vehicle key are with truck in CT.
I have tried to include everything I know about the truck. It's super-clean, runs well, and of course just made it across the country. Still, it is almost 20 years old and is sold As-Is. Please examine the pictures, set up a test-drive if possible, and ask questions ahead of final bidding.
