Overall Condition and the beauty of the Gen 2 Trans Ams!!!
And a Great Investment As Well!!!
If you know these cars in high-end SE Bandit-Style condition, you know these are hot and hard to find at this level…This car is a meticulous 4 (Four) Year project that started off with a specifically found factory 4-Speed, T-Top and AC painted Nocturne Blue with Camel Cloth interior car. It was completely disassembled (A flash drive with over 160 pictures of the build comes with the car including images of Burt Reynolds signing a new Glove box door). Every nut and bolt is new along with most every part. The metal work included new floor pans, trunk pan, tail pan, hood, deck lid, (1) Fender and (1) Door with a new cowl panel and complete dash welded in. One of the best independent builders in the region and the current owner of this car started and completed this project. All electrical wiring harnesses and components used on this car were also new
. In summation, it is a Brand New Much Better Than Factory 1979 Trans Am built to resemble what a Bandit car should look and Perform like!
This was a Tennessee car when my friend found it but it had places here and there that could have kept it from being the Super High-End result that it turned out to be. You can find many Gen 2’s for sale but few present the level of clarity this car demonstrates. Even fewer have the same option package and actually offer the reliability of “drive it anywhere” if you want. Due to changed plans the owner, builder and a very close friend has decided to let it go while its new and at the top of its game.
The car is an amazing pleasure to drive and running through the gears with the sound of the new exhaust can only freeze smiles on faces. What else can I say, It all works including but not limited to lights, dash cluster, courtesy and signal / brake lights, speedometer, tachometer, horn, wipers, Radio, gauges, choke and heater / defroster, It also has Ice Cold Air that makes it very nice on these hot days. This is the Real Deal! The builder is so meticulous that he even fabricated the air induction flaps on the scoop to work under acceleration.
Is this car perfect…no and none of them are! I really don’t know where to pick on the car other than to say I found a slight flaw on the rubber nose that is about an inch long and down low where its not seen easily. Nothing else that I know to say but just felt like I should have a disclaimer stated.
I reserve the right to end this auction early due to having it for sale locally... I am pricing this car to sell and don’t think this car will last long so do not hesitate to bid and please do so with absolute confidence! Please have finances in order prior to bidding as well. Purely as a hobby, I have been blessed to sell cars to buyers all over the country and internationally and take tremendous efforts in keeping a 100% feedback…that said, I have tried to be honest and accurate in all descriptions. I encourage however all to inspect this car if possible prior to bidding so that you can confirm my notes above or contact me with any questions at [email protected] or (865) 384-6017 or contact the Owner / Builder Brian @ (865) 256-1513.
Note: He has a clear Tennessee Title in his name. I am not the owner, but I am helping my friend sell his dream car that he spent the last 4 years building.
If you are the winning bidder, please expect to send a ,500 deposit within 72 hours and have plans to pick the car up within 7 days. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer but I can assist with local direct carriers with both enclosed and open hauling available. If you have less than a positive 2 feedback, please contact me before bidding.
Thanks for taking the time to look at my car and GOOD LUCK!
