Driscoll by the Boyertown (Pennsylvania) Lodge No. 471 F&AM on December 27, 1973. The medal is in the form of a right angle tool with the Masonic emblem in its top corner consisting of the letter "G" within a compass and an upside right angel with cobalt blue enameling. There is several Masonic symbols with blue and white enameling on the medal. The entire metal portion is hanging from a light blue colored wide ribbon having 3 silver colored metal bars with the top one having Masonic symbols, the middle one having the date 1973 and the bottom one having the letters DRD which we believe stands for Director R. Driscoll. enameled i triangle with a star in its center. The back of the medal has the words "Presented to P.M. D. Robert Driscoll; By Boyertown Lodge No. 741 F&A.M. December 27, 1973. The top bar on the ribbon also has a metal pinback and is attached to a leather strip attached to a stiff leather backing marked Kettell, Blake & Read; 387 Washington St. Boston, Mass 02108. We did not attempt to disconnect the medal from the leather strip. The medal ribbon and its leather backing are enclosed in a black leather wallet with the markings Wm.
