Community Chevrolet is a new/used car dealership located in Burbank, CA and family owned for over 60 years. We have a huge passion for all cars especially collector cars of all makes and models. We want to share our passion for the automobile by offering for sale some of our select favorite vehicles. Anyone who also enjoys this hobby knows that most classic vehicles have some issues and many times are not perfect. While we are proud of the vehicles we select and sell, we are not in the restoration business and vehicles are sold AS-IS. Up for auction is this 1971 Chevrolet C-10 2WD Suburban 3 door with barn doors. These 3 door Suburban's are in high demand and short supply right now. This is a good driver quality one with mostly CA history and nice option of rear A/C system as well as 2

row seating.  Powered by a 350 ci V8 motor with decent power and Edelbrock intake and carburetor.  Features a 3 speed automatic transmission and 12 bolt rear end.
The exterior Yellow paint and body panel look OK from a distance but up close has some issues and driver quality or below but acceptable for a daily cruiser.  The paint may clean up with a good color sanding or buffing. Takes a good firm close especially on passenger side door to close completely.  Trim, exterior chrome and glass are presentable for a driver.  Depends on what you would like to do with this vehicle enjoying as a driver or stripping down to build your own custom version.
The interior is decent with some newer carpet, refinished seats with some nicely upgraded captain bucket seats w/armrest in the front and what looks like the original center console.  Seats are very comfortable and has shoulder harness seat belts in the front.  The 2

row seats are present and can easily be remove in which the 3
rd
row seat is not anchored down at this time.  The dash has all the original gauges for oil, coolant temp, voltage and fuel which all appear to work at this time as well as the tachometer.  Features tilt wheel steering and the Rear Air Conditioning unit in place which was a factory original option according to the option sticker which is still located in the glovebox with the VIN number of the vehicle (see pics).  An upgraded stereo features USB system and looks stock in the dash.  The headliner looks original and rough but adds to the nostalgia of this stock looking Suburban.
The 350 motor runs out nicely with decent power in our driving runs cool and vehicle cruises smoothly in city or highway speeds at friendly RPM's.  We love these Suburban's because of the long wheel base how smooth they ride.  We replace the rear shocks recently as well.  Features front power disc brakes and turns like butter with a light hand. The original VIN data plate is attached in driver door well with appears to be the original correct rivets along with the vehicle safety tag also with the matching VIN.  As mentioned the original service parts ID or option tag is in the glovebox also with the VIN. The underside of the car is respectable but matches that this is now a 50 year old vehicle and has some wear.
This is a neat driver/cruiser 1971 3 door Suburban that can be enjoyed but in no way a show car. Perfect for someone just wanted to have fun or possibly build their dream 3 Door Suburban the way they want!  Vehicle is currently registered and title with a clear CA title.

We prefer bank wire transfer as best method of payment. We accept cash or cashier check but their will be a hold before vehicle will be released till all funds clear. We will normally provide you title within 5-10 days of sale by overnight carrier once full payment is received and cleared. Again, vehicles are sold AS-IS just like at the major auctions with no guaranties or warranties just like when we have to purchase the vehicle from a private party, auction or outside source. We can assist with transportation quotes and loading but not responsible for actions or any damage of vehicle while in transit. We reserve the right to remove the listing at any time.
